Update from Big Sky

Greetings from beautiful, chilly Missoula. I haven’t been to Montana in 50 years and am enjoying the change of scenery.

American Grail is premiering tonight. I’m included early in festival trailer, which was a very nice surprise.

The first review has already been published, and it’s positive. It’s a little strange (but pleasing) to be called a compelling figure. Compelling or not, I do think the film captures something essential about me. More importantly, I hope it conveys something significant about hope and about beauty.

We’ve already seen a couple of intense and important films: Mediha, about a heroic young Yazidi woman who was abducted and trafficked by Isis, and Demon Mineral about the devastating impact of uranium mining on the Navajo Nation. Both films are tough to watch but important and well-crafted.

Back to American Grail, here’s the trailer:

Enjoy and please feel free to follow the film on Facebook and Instagram.
